Meet Dr. Libby

An animal lover and certified palliative care veterinarian.

Educational Path

She was sidetracked for a few years working in management training for the City of Austin and the State of Texas. After deciding to return to school, she continued working part-time for the State, taking prerequisite courses for veterinary school at the University of Texas, and volunteering at a local veterinary hospital. After graduation, she worked as an associate at a veterinary clinic for several years. She saw the need for additional mobile veterinary services in Austin and opened Mobile Cat & Dog Vet in January 2004.

Dr. Libby is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin (BA Psychology, BBA Marketing), the University of North Texas (MA Organizational Psychology) and Texas A&M University (DVM Veterinary Medicine). She is a member of the International Association of Animal Hospice and Palliative Care (IAAHPC) and has earned the prestigious CHPV certification for pet hospice and palliative care.

Dr. Libby is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin (BA Psychology, BBA Marketing), the University of North Texas (MA Organizational Psychology) and Texas A&M University (DVM Veterinary Medicine).

Early Beginings

The Small Town Lifestyle

Dr. Libby and her husband made the move to Bend in 2012. They love the smaller town, friendly people, and all the outdoor activities that Bend has to offer. When she’s not taking care of local pets, Dr. Libby enjoys cycling, skiing, anything on the water, gardening, and tending to her bees. She shares her household with Blake, Pepe, Abby & Florette the dogs, and of course her husband Michel.
